My old friend called me this morning and she want me to meet her in monumento, she said she has something to discuss and offer to me. She want me to go with her to apply a work in abroad. I like her offer but I'm scared to go in other country to work and also leaving my family is hard for me. It's okay for me to stay here in philippines because I have my small business and my husband have a job here too. So Im telling her that I'm not ready for that. Do you think my decision is right?

You only can decide this for yourself. It's a big step to live and work abroad. Is the money good enough? Will you take your family? How long can you go for and how often can you visit home? From my exprience, it was worth it because I came with my husband. It wouldn't be the same if I was alone.

@resukill22 I agree, if you decide to go it is better to make sure that they can follow you. For which country is the opportunity? (You don't have to share if you don't want to).

You have a husband and a son, you shouldn't think about leaving them to go work in another country. They need you to stay with them in the Philippines! If you were single, then it would make sense to work abroad; but not when you have family that wants and needs you.

@resukill22 oh i think it's better not to accept the offer. You have a business no matter how small it is still business. Your husband is working. It is still comfortable to work in our own home.

It is hard to leave everything behind and go abroad for a longer period of time. I would need a very good offer to go to work abroad, at this moment.

You don't want to leave your family. If you weren't married with a son, that would be different.
