Lit a candle today in memory of my mother's birth anniversary. She died in 2015 because of cancer.
We did wonder how my mother contracted cancer. Our blood could be prone to illness brought about by saccharine substances, cancer would be a different story.
Then this video provided the answer to my decade old question. Now I know.
Trevor breaks down the growing concern over PFAs, aka “forever chemicals,” their uses, their health risks, and how they got here to begin with. #IfYouDontKno...

We don't have cancer in the bloodline but I don't feel safe nevertheless. Anything can happen as far as I know.

I believe the pharmaceuticals and that company Noah was picking on are guilty. They proliferated cancer for money purposes.

@yoalldudes Nope. Trevor Noah is the talk show host who divulged the Dupont company that allow the chemicals in the water. It's on the video link.

I think the main culprit in suffering from cancer is environmental pollution, apart from hereditary factor.

I lost my mom to cancer as well 2013. She fought for it for a decade before she finally gave in. I hate this disease but we cannot do anything about it since we are all at a loss how this will be defeated. The present medical interventions are very temporary and not long lasting that it just gives the patient time to enjoy quality life with the family. Eventually the disease will still attack when the time comes the body is not that agile anymore.

Am sorry your mother was also robbed a decade of her life. My mother said she would not wish the illness even on her foes. She has none though.
Let's keep cancer at bay. Supporting the organic produce as much as I can.

@eileenleyva That's true the only consolation I have in is that before she left this world we were able to say our goodbye to her making the transition less painful to let go.
