Last working week.....

I am back from work. It was another short working day with only one session. My other child is still at home due to chicken pox.
It's Friday and once back from work the weekend mood sets in.
Today I was informed that the next week will be the last working week for this academic year. The children will have exams after that and school closes from 28th March for summer vacation. It will reopen from first week of June for the next academic year.
So it's a two months holiday
I hope my other child comes by next week. If he does not, I will go on one of his exams days to meet him and say bye.
The principal might think of a summer camp for special needs children in school campus. She just told me that she might plan about it and then let me know. Each year I have it for two to three weeks at my home. But if it's in school campus, it will be better and the other children who come to me can also join there. Let's see how it works out.
I have a three weeks travel plan. It was for four weeks but we have dropped our trip to Bangkok due to coronavirus. We planned it in December. The hotel bookings are cancelled and refunded. Now it's airlines booking. We sent a mail to them. Hope we get a refund from there or else we will loose a good amount of money there. Keeping our fingers crossed.
How are things going at your end? Has weekend mood set in there

Now the schools are closed for safety measures for corona. Seems like we will open in June now after vacation. Not yet sure!

No, Holi is not known in South India. So no holiday here. But we definitely have celebration at few places. We have one on our apartment too. Many people from North are here

I am glad you have not gotten it and hope you do not. It is very serious and they are also cancelling international flights here too.

@Hannihar Keeping fingers crossed. World needs prayers now. Best way to stay safe is avoid unnecessary travel and public gathering.

We have still not got it and neither have been assured of getting it back. But it seems that now government is cancelling these flights and passengers are getting back their money. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

It's three weeks of vacation actually. One month might keep me busy with summer camp. Though we still are not clear on that.
