Hi everyone! A very good evening to all.
I always get nightmares when I watch horror movies.
The fact that I watch them is that only some turn out to be 'scary' . If you can notice, most turn out to be boring. And I always fall asleep
Do you get nightmares? Ever found why or how you get them?

I only have nightmares when i am deeply stressed or bothered within the day. The only way to get a good night's sleep for me if i'm experiencing such is to pray and also to relax my mind and body with happy thoughts. Also, not eating too much before going to bed helps. Having a full tummy whilst getting ready for bed isn't a good idea. Thanks for your post.

@KityCat You're very welcome! There is a study on patients sleeping with a full stomach revealed that going to bed on a full stomach, whatever you ate, can cause nightmare-inducing brain waves.

If I fall Asleep to them I will get them. Only Aliens scare me. Nightmares do not really work on me. Heights and falling scare me, zombies, I will end up laughing in my dream. When Aliens paralyze me then I get scared also.

When I get nightmares they are usually unconnected to anything. I can watch horror shows and go to bed.

You should avoid watching horror movies so you will not have nightmares.

I rarely have nightmares. I watch violent shows but don't affect my dreams
