Words in a spiralbound notebook

United States

When I was around 8-12 years old, I found a spiralbound notebook under my parents bed. I don't know why I got the impression that these stories were my sister's, maybe my mom had told me that they were, but then why were they under my parents bed? Years have gone by, and as it goes, memories fade. I am sure there's something about that time that I'm forgetting. That doesn't really matter, what does is that it popped into my head today. I have been in love with words for years. The way they make me feel, the entertainment they provide. I have lived a thousand lives between the pages of a book. I've written a few of my own words both here and other places. I've been encouraged to write, and I try to encourage others to write as well. I've been staring at a page on my browser for a few days now. I refresh it several times a day, and see 0.35 staring back at me. This makes me both happy and anxious at the same time. I want to see that number increase, but I know that means a lot of work ahead. A lot more words to write, more worlds to weave.... If you are wondering why I haven't been as active here the past few days, that's why. I've been away in other worlds... How's your Sunday? Have you done something that scares you lately?

I've never liked the process of packing or unpacking, but I love being able to put things in a new spot . I was watching this video about a Japanese moving company. They come in and pack your entire house for you, cataloguing as they go so you know exactly where everything is.

@simone10 Yeah, that hasn't made it's way over here. I wonder if it ever will. I think people are too worried about their items.

I love to write; and I love a brand new steno notebook with no words written on it! My Sunday is OK. I'm trying to score my first content writing job; and that makes me nervous! I've never written that way before. Good luck making that number change!

I prefer to write using a computer. I find that my words flow better that way, but I know we all have a different style that works best for us. I wish you luck on content writing. That's not something I could ever see myself doing.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It's a challenge for sure; and I'm very nervous about accepting that first job.

@LindaOHio I am sure you will do fine. Just do lots of research and edit and edit again.

My Sunday is as good than your discussion. I liked to read it. At my age, nothing threatens me

My Sunday was good. Half day was full of chores and later half was for relaxing. Now I am in bed and watching TV. You are right. To make the number move we have to do a lot of work.

It's good when we can spend a few hours just relaxing and not having to worry about work and chores. I hope you enjoyed it!
