A Hidden Swimming Pool on the Mountain

It must be frightening to be in the water of a pool. Did you ever have a bad experience with it before? @LadyDuck

@hereandthere Possibly soon after I was born. Mum told me that the nurse dropped me for a few seconds in the water basin while giving me my first bath. She noticed that I was scared and cried , I suppose it started there.

I prefer to swim on the beach. However, the nearest beach is 2 hours away from my city.

@thelme55 It's quite far. That's the reason why I need to book a room at the seaside. So that I can enjoy being away from the buzzing city.

@Shavkat that is very far. Just like the beach where we went to in Holland though only 10 minutes away from my sis house.

I do like reading a novel at the side of it. It's a good way to relax.

If I'm in the lowland area, I do like hanging out in the barn. I hope I could try to milk a cow.

I do like swimming in the pool if it's summer. It is unlikely in my city. I'm glad the I found it.

I hope you could find your sanctuary. I do want to swim here. But I will find time to do it soon.

@Shavkat I don't think we have a natural beach in Guangzhou I have been to the beaches in Shenzhen, Hong Kong but I can't find one in Guangzhou.

@youless I guess I've been to Shenzhen then. I thought there are boats that could go to Hong Kong or Macau from Guanzhou. Is it?

It is indeed the nearest pool. It's cheap to have it and only costs Php 50.00 per head (6.84 RMB). I do believe you are in Guangzhou. If you are, then you can go to nearby beaches there, right?

@hereandthere It seems that you can read my mind. I'm planning to have my time off working and booked a room here. I can spend all day and all night long to loosen up.

@DaddyEvil I heard that it needs a license to catch fish in the USA. Does it apply there too? When I was a child, I tried to use a net to catch fish in the city's lake. I was caught by a guard.

I'm sure you can do fishing in the lake or river. I haven't tried this activity. What a pity for me not to do this. When I was in the old house, I just lurking around the backyard. Perhaps staring at the moon every night. With the new rental house, I just lock myself in the room. Why? It's my working station online.

@Shavkat Pretty does fish in the lakes and rivers here but I just sit on the bank and read and listen to her yelling at me to take the fish off the hook for her... after a while, I will actually take the fish off and toss it back into the water so she can try and catch it again. When you come to visit, I will take you to the lake and/or river and let you catch fish while I release them back into the water, probably while you aren't looking. I don't like fish and won't clean them so it is better to turn them loose again.

I agree. It's nice a pool. Perhaps it's one pool in my city.

It is still my favorite thing to sit at the seaside. Unfortunately, it will take a long time before it will happen again because of this current situation.
