Sometimes I wonder why I bother posting on Facebook, because something I posted today about the Corona Virus Panic led to name calling, I was called stupid, childish, and then told I wasn't a Christian because I dared voice my opinion, then my Aunt who worked in the medical field for thirty years offered up her opinions and some facts she was called names too, and apparently because I asked her not to speak in a disrespectful manner to my loved ones I am mean.
.
This Corona Virus thing is turning some ppl mean and irrational! Ugh what happened to the ability to carry out a conversation without name calling.

Why not just block you or unfriend you? There is no need to call anyone names in Facebook.

@Michellekidwell Yea, to me it was not worth being on there. Most everyone I need to catch up with I have their phone number and can call them if I want to catch up with them.

It is crazy how we are all extremely separated on the issue, we have people on both sides of the extreme - like, on one side, people who are buying mass amounts of toilet paper, isolating themselves, etc -a nd the other side that doesn't think this is an issue at all. Like everything, we are polarized in this too.

I would agree to that. Social media can be used so well for so many good things. But sadly many use it for trolling and name calling.

@Michellekidwell Somehow I feel that in today's world people lack that patience and tolerance to indulge in a civil discussion. Bad words and calling names have become cool

There is no need for name calling; and people should be mature enough to hold a civil conversation!
