Hats off to the VA

We left in plenty of time to get there today. We knew from announcements on Facebook that the entrances we are used to were closed.
I turned east when we got off the highway, instead of west, so I thought I was running late. I had hubby get off at the drop off door and went out to find a parking space.
I was blessed to see someone pull out where I needed to park.
They had escorts and a wheel chair for hubby because he had been having trouble walking long distances.
When all was said and done hubby was checked in, procedure done, and we were back in the car before the scheduled time for the appointment.
I think they did an excellent job.

@Bensen32 Some aspects still have a bad reputation. I also think perhaps some facilities are less responsive than others.

This is the image many people have, but for us it is not that way. Of course this was a specialty clinic.

@GardenGerty Yes, it has improved over the years but back when I first got out of the Marines it was bad, really bad.

Yes. I also was able to check him in by scanning his ID.

Bob's procedure was by a nurse, but the doctor did step in and see him.

It was a heart-warming scene ! It was very thoughtful of them to escort your husband to there.
