The local chief executive here in our city suspended all classes in both private and public schools until further notice. This was came up after their meeting with health authorities and other people with hand on the recent COVID threat. There is one person tested positive and currently confined at one of the region's hospitals. Health authorities are currently tracking and validating travel history and whereabouts of this person now.
It's a light relief since the children can stay home and limit the exposure.

Some states have closed schools here, and some counties in California, sporting events, and large gatherings have bee. Suspended or postponed!

Here the schools are still close and I don't know when they will be open again. But I feel released to it although I also care about the study. Compare to the study, the health is still much more important. Now the students have online study at home. My son is the same. Due to it, I bought a new printer

For some reason the British prime minister says that closing schools could make this worse because children will be running around the community spreading the disease rather than keeping it in one place, I don't really know how I feel about this.

@ZedSmart The problem is not all people stick to advice which is why I think the pandemic is spreading so quickly.

@sprite1950 Yes, you are right. They're lacking empathy and cooperation. Some insist to go outside or travel even if it's risky already.
