I Asked Him To Please Not Do That ... He Ignored Me

I went for a nice walk with our Pups2 this evening. The sunshine, breeze contributed to making the walk pleasant. Not being realistic for a moment ... I hope somehow our temperatures this summer won't get much warmer than today's. Gracious, what a perfect day.
I came back ... got on the computer, went to my Facebook page only to find one Facebook friend that I expected more from ... was in the process of verbally attacking one of my favorite friends. Oh my, the ugly ... ugly things, names this grown man was calling her ... all because her beliefs were different from hers.
He attacked her for being a Democrat ... I couldn't believe the nasty names he called her. He scorned her. I was in shock. I asked him to please stop ... he never acknowledged me, kept on.
I'm not having anyone come on my Facebook page and act disrespectfully. It's a good place to come as I write about real life and talk to my friends there. It doesn't matter if anyone is different from ME ... as long as respect, caring is there. Gracious, I learn from people who are different from me.
All my friends there are 'birds of a different feather'. I love it! I love that they come from all parts of this big, old world ... they do things I've never done, share all in their photos. It's wonderful. From python hunting to swimming, studying sharks, climbing the biggest mountains, caring for alligators, catching alligators ... my friends do it all. They paint, write, sew, create ... just everything!
This man was everything I don't want in a Facebook Friend ... he was bullying, scorning, tearing my friend down because she was Democrat, he was Republican. What is wrong with people? A grown man acting like that.
I went to my settings, clicked on Privacy ... blocked him after I unfriended him. I don't need friends like that at all.
Have you ever been shocked by the behavior of someone you thought was a nice person? Shocked because you expected so much more from them? Not only does it hurt, it disappoints.
