Papyrus ~ Ancient Egypt's paper.

Papyrus is a reed that grows around the Nile river. In ancient Egypt, it was used for most of the things like. Nile River. The ancient Egyptians used papyrus to make paper, baskets, sandals, mats, rope, blankets, tables, chairs, mattresses, medicine, perfume, food, and clothes. This is the first paper created before the modern day's paper that we are using now. Papyrus was used as the first writing material long before the modern day's paper come into existence.

I was fortunate enough to see papyrus in Egypt. The Egyptian people used it for so many things.

Ancient Egyptians were smart people. They knew many things and I think some of those things are forgotten, but would be useful today, too.
