Do you like to negotiate?

Ever since I can remember, I never liked to negotiate. For me, it is either yes or no. If somebody wants to sell me something and I cannot offer the price they want, I don't bother them. Also, I don't like when somebody tries to lesser the price I ask for something. In fact, it makes me mad.
I work in tourism and I hate it when tourists want me to let them in for less than the ticket price. It is impossible, because the price is printed on the ticket. And some of them don't understand, even if the price is almost a symbolic one.
These being said, I don't like to negotiate in neither aspect of life. And I don't like it when somebody tries to do that with me.
How about you? Do you like to negotiate?

@DianneN I wanted to be a lawyer when I was a kid, until 11th grade. Then, I changed my mind.

You may be right, but it pisses me off. I consider it an insult. When I feel that somebody is negotiating with me, I usually leave the conversation.

@ExplorewtMe That is why I rarely buy from not official places. I usually buy from stores, where the prices are fixed.

@rappeter13 yes some time it looks irritating. But some place like job interview the hr always Start with a lower side anticipating negotiation. And some vendors and service providers quote at higher side anticipating negotiation. If you will not negotiate there than you are not getting the best.

I would never try to negotiate a ticket price except perhaps to ask if there is discount for seniors as there often is. My husband loves negotiating and likes nothing more than to find someone who also likes to negotiate. He treats it as a game.

Of course, we have differentiated ticket prices. That is natural to ask.
Your husband wouldn't find a partner in me. I refuse to participate in negotiation.

I never believed in haggling especially to poor vendors. Perhaps if it is a huge transaction with the big boys. But I dont have the skill for it.

It's a case-to-case situation. I don't negotiate if amount is fixed, but i do negotiate at times when i know it can be negotiated.
