Mom is Person Under Investigation

" Mum is so sick. She's in the hospital and currently a person under investigation".
I got the shock of my life when I received this Viber message from my brother at 2 in the morning today.
My mom had pneumonia three years ago. Now, at 74 her body is fragile and very susceptible to diseases. According to my brother, mom has been very lethargic and dizzy. She vomited a couple of times so he brought her immediately to the hospital.
I informed my cousin who lives a few minutes away from our house. Then, I sent a message to mom's best friend. I had to know if my mom had been to her best friend's house prior to last night.
At 9 in the morning, I got an update from my brother that our mom was sent home. She was given medicine for vertigo and she has to be quarantined for the next 14 days.
Urgh! I hate this virus.
Friends, please be safe. Let's follow the precautionary measures and most of all stay strong.

Thanks, Arya. Is everybody being cooperative in your area? I read on FB that lots of people in my hometown are 'pasaway' lols.

@Iam_jauntyjen You know how Filipinos are very friendly so I guess in a way yes. Last Saturday and Sunday a lot of people went home from Manila and the ones who are here are furious because they are strolling in town, visiting friends and relatives and just making "pasyal".

Thank you so much. I was able to talk to her through a video call. She confirmed that she has pneumonia but she has no cough nor fever.

True, nobody is exempted. What's difficult is she's in the Philippines while I am here in Korea.
