A call from family members during night time sounds an alarm to me. I always view it as emergency or something. I almost ready to lye down on bed when the phone rang. My sister though in a very calm voice requested me to come to their house. His husband, a senior citizen, diabetic and with other health conditions is experiencing diarrhea. She worried because at this time, it's quite alarming when you show symptoms of the dreaded disease that invaded worldwide. Medicines were taken as well as fluid to prevent dehydration. Aside from the couple living in the house, there only company are 2 children. She called me to come at least to have an adult company whatever happen next. I suggest that we will just bring him to the hospital in case the meds won't work and to make it sure. Hospitalization is not a good idea this time but no other place we could run in case of medical emergency. I assure and comfort my sister that we should not afraid because medical professionals can handle him.

i see from your comments that he seems okay now. maybe it was just caused by something he ate or drank.

He took meds for diarrhea and electrolytes. No trip at loo as of now. I think medicines are now working. My sister are more worried than her husband.

@ZedSmart Good that medicines worked and he saved the unnecessary trip to hospital. Hospital is not a safe place right now.

He remained at home and I think the meds are working for the diarrhea. If he decides to go, we will. He's sleeping for now.
