The fight against tiny bugs: banana milkshakes.

I am absolutely sure that bananas won´t do any harm to COVID-19 or to any virus in the world. But here I am, alone, with the flour moths almost under control and I feel I deserve a reward. My daughters brought me some fruit and there were 2 bananas. I made a banana milkshake for breakfast yesterday with half a banana and I used the other half for today. They were delicious! I added just a bit of sugar as they were too ripe. I´ll make the last 2 tomorrow and then will go on with strawberry milkshakes until there is no more in the freezer. I will reserve the ice cream for later, when there´s no fresh fruit around. I doubt that my youngest daughter will be able to bring me any. She will not risk her health or her children´s health for a couple of bananas. Do you have quarantine? What will you miss more?

We are supposed to stay put except for necessities. We don't go out much; but I will miss going out to eat once and a while.

I am not used to go out for dinner. So I don´t miss that. I do miss my helper, Leticia, who has been with me foralmost 20 years.

@LindaOHio She is waiting for COVID-19 to stop. Public health services are not taking take of anything but. So she is on a diet.

Banana milkshake sounds nice. I haven't had a milkshake for a long time. My brother and his family are in quarantine, but my husband and I are not. They ask people to stay inside as much as possible, but the ones who aren't ill or haven't been around people who are ill are able to go out to buy food.

@marguicha I think that is the right thing to do. We have started ordering food online, so that we don't have to visit the crowded stores. I don't visit my mother at the moment, she is 71 and she has some health problems, so it is best to call instead of going for a visit.

@Porcospino That´s what my daughters are doing. If I run out of food, I´ll buy online. It is the best way. But I am stocked for a long time.

I could go out too. But I´m 74 years old and have a cancer in remission. So it is not the best idea to go out. My children stocked me and if I need something else, they will throw it to the garden.

@marguicha I am not in any kind of quarantine. I have no reason to go out except for food.

If you had seen the cluster of banana that I posted which was given by the neighbor, there's just 1 piece left. Now it is nearing breakfast and for sure there would be a scramble for that solitary banana, waheehee.
