This is the Joyce Meyer topic I watched today. There is also a story of a couple where their young baby boy died early of a rare disease. In our walk in faith there are times we don't understand why God allows bad things to happen to us. In spite of no clear answer we still need to trust God. Right now I don't understand why God allow me to suffer from insomnia and nervousness but having no clear reason does not mean I should stop trusting Him. I know for now I just keep trusting and prove to Him of my level of faith that even if bad things happen to me He cares and loves me so much. He is just testing my level of faith

According to many ministers who are no longer with us like the late Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986) in many of his book he writes that God allows bad things to happen so we can rely on Him and develop Godly character when the Age Of Man is finished.
