My scary experience yesterday

I was scared, yes so scared when the police said I got high temperature after he tested me. I went to the municipal treasury after receiving a text from my co-teacher telling our salary is available, but it should be received in the treasury office in the municipal hall. What I mean here, the salary from my part time teaching outside the city. It was my niece who drove me to the municipal hall. She bought a new car and mine is in the shop and will stay there for many weeks or months for shop is closed.
The car cannot enter the vicinity of the municipal hall where the treasury office is located. Traffic sign said NO ENTRY , so I walked just few meters under the raging heat of the sun, no umbrella. My niece waited me inside her car. When I reached the gate of the hall I noticed many police authorities surround.
One approached me to get a Test on me.His eyes dilated and I felt scared when he said, " Ma'am you have high temperature". I told him, " how could that be "? I told him that I walked just some steps , no umbrella". He then told me," please wait here." I did not wait him, I asked people nearby the location of the treasury office. I was inside that treasury and was called by my friend, the cashier pointing the paper to sign to receive my salary, only to be interrupted by the police. He frowned at me and I frowned back at him. He said, " Ma'am can I test you again. I said," why not." He said. " ay sorry ma'am", your temperature is normal now. Whew, I was indeed scared. I also thought, two weeks ago I shopped in malls. This means to say that, it is not good to go out under the raging heat of the sun and get tested, we'll surely get burned from scare.

@LadyDuck, hehehe I was really scared that is why I left where I stood and proceeded to the treasury office under the freezing thermo. The police frowned at me thinking that I might spread the virus, so I frowned back at him.

That was really scary, imagine when you left your house you felt all is well with you and then this happens. With all the check points and in buildings frequented by many people sometimes we get nervous especially when thermal scanner is aimed at us. I'm glad you were scanned again and and the result was normal.Anyway it's for our safety too.

@cacay1 Yes , it's very hard for us to fight an opponent if we don't see them. Let's just hope they find a cure/vaccine sooner to defeat this enemy.
