Claudia and Tania have been pestering me all day. Tania is telling me about every feather she has bought to be prepared for winter. Claudia calls me to tell me what Tania tells her. They want advise. Now Claudia just called me to inform me that both of her children had a cold. They are in bed. I said nothing but this is the time of the year that children get ill. Claudia buys beautiful shoes for Sofía but she goes barefooted most of the year. Vicente likes T shirts in winter. No comments! Did I have a thermometer? Yes, I did. Could I lend them the thermometer? Sure! I am not ill. But why is it that there is no thermometer in a house with kids? Claudia wanted me to "find" another one so that I could have one for myself. I did not curse only because it would not help any. It seems that my middle aged daughters are as stupid as those youngsters who party now. They never learned their math. Two plus two IS four! In this age everything is disposable. And people don´t know how to take care of things as we did before. We are destroying the planet.
