He is a Canadian-American actor, author, producer, director, screenwriter and singer. He is best remembered for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on Star Trek (1966-1969). After being typecast as Kirk, Shatner had great difficulty getting jobs, lost his home and lived in a truck-bed camper until small roles led to higher-paying gigs. 1976 - Reese Witherspoon was born. She is an American actress, producer and entrepreneur. As of 2019 she is one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. She gained fame as Tracy Flick in Election (1999) and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (2001) and its 2003 sequel. Sweet Home Alabama (2002) and Walk the Line (2005) were her next hits. She won an Academy Award for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in Walk the Line.
