Things are in such an uproar in our country. I'm hoping this shutdown ends soon. People are still hoarding basic items from the stores, people are cancelling weddings, millions are out of work, and so on. My husband went out again today to go to the pharmacy. I hope he's done with his running around for a while. He had me cancel his doctor's appointment for this week; so that's a good thing for now. It took me most of the day to do most of the Discussions and Notifications; so I didn't do any postings. How are you handling all these changes in our world? Stay safe, sane and healthy and I will see you again on Tuesday. Photo Credit: Pixabay

lol I love giraffes. I ticked one thing off my bucket list when I hand fed one the summer before last. I still want to touch one...maybe if we get to travel this September.

@DocAndersen There is a place in St. Augustine where you can pet a giraffe and another place where you can feed a giraffe. When we went to Port Clinton the summer before last, we had a giraffe head INSIDE the car while I fed him carrots. It was practically on my husband's lap since he was in the driver's seat.

Cuomo is saying this thing will not go away anytime soon. Can be 4-9 months before this blows over. Or something like that. And yes, people are still buying more than they should, if my Russian grocery store is limiting 2 cartons of eggs per customer due to high demand. I think it was the Sunday before this one, my local supermarket had the shelves that have eggs all empty. I am assuming it was because people bought too many but I guess it can also be because they didn't get the new delivery yet.

@LindaOHio I don't get that. What's the point of all this hoarding? Stores aren't closing. They regularly get stocked stuff. You can just and get what you need when you run out.

@lovebuglena People are panicking. They think that the stores are going to run out of food and won't be able to restock.

People are still hoarding. We are all stocked up and have no more room for anymore food.

well it's Tuesday and not much has changed so far. Clay is still running out getting stuff which I wish he wouldn't that's not taking this threat seriously.

Stores are going to have to implement restrictions on how many of these products a person can get in a day. One of our local stores has started doing this. I'm hoping we will eventually be able to see a difference.

@LindaOHio At least now we are able to buy meat. We can only buy 3 a day but I'm ok with that.

I can’t catch up on here, so along with what’s going on in the world and that, I’m getting very, very stressed. Hubs insists on going to Publix tomorrow, which is also stressing me out. Donny isn’t helping much either.

Donald needs to keep his mouth shut. He keeps sticking his foot in it. Be careful going to Publix. My husband made another run on Sunday. I hope he's done for a while.
