I don't know WHAT's WRONG in my CITY's STATUS

It has been days that I'm receiving links about people who were confirmed to be positive with COVID-19. Despite watching the local news every day, we haven't seen any reports about them. According to the last message I received, the victim is tagged number 7. Now, I need to go to our barangay unit and avail the permit to go to the town proper. I need to withdraw money and do some groceries at the same time. I can't deny that I'm safer on myLot's world. How's it like going on in your world? Is the local news accurate in your place? Depending on what source you get your news from, some are much more accurate than others.

It's our city's local news. As of now, it was reported that there are two confirmed cases here.

@Shavkat I see. I'm sorry, Shavkat. I wish there was something I could do to help you. According to the literature from WHO your country is handling the virus much better than my country is/has been handling it. The US is quickly catching up with China and Italy in the number of deaths attributed to the Covid 19 virus. The US has far outstripped the other countries in confirmed cases of the coronavirus. And we are still not unified as to what we are going to do to slow/stop the contagion. Social distancing here isn't working because people can't/won't remember to stay a set distance from other people. I don't know what or how we will get this figured out. Personally, I believe the entire country will have to be shut down until the virus is gone. But then the country will also be gone since we won't be able to maintain the infrastructure to support our previous way of life. We will lose millions of people to starvation and deprivation. But it seems to be either lose millions or lose everyone.

@DaddyEvil I heard about the incidence of confirmed cases in Italy and the USA. It's quite alarming though. As of now, we're safe in my city. I'm just worried because my sister is living in another city. But I think she's fine with my little nephew. It seems China controlled the situation. However, I think that they did this on purpose. Since the outbreak only contained mostly in Wuhan as compared to Shanghai and Beijing. No confirmed cases reported in these big cities.

In my estimation the news is accurate here for my local as we have neighbors site..called Nextdoor. I rely on that as it is very local. Now we can only go out for grocery, pharmacy, and walk. No permit needed.

I remember you bought a lot of food lately. If it is not necessary, perhaps you don't have to go out again lately.

I chose to stay at home, if out of the house I feel alert to others because the infected are approximately 2 km away.

I think we are being kept up to date. We shopped a couple of days ago and won't need to get anything else for a while.
