Keeping vehicle in order during the lockdown

So taking out vehicle to go outside is out of question during the 21 day lockdown.
But the experience tells that if the vehicles are not used for many days, it could lead to some issues.
So yesterday, I started my car and drive it for just a few metres inside my residential society.
I would do so after a few days as well.
It did felt strange to be the only one out but well at least the vehicle can be kept in the running condition.
How are you managing your vehicles?

I also use our car every day just for a short ride around the village. It is not good to leave it in the garage for a week.

@Alexandoy
Here cops are beating folks who are traveling with sticks or threatening jail. One reason is that there are some folks who refuse to follow the guidelines and violating lockdowns even if they are not in essential services.

@Alexandoy yet in some cases, the measures are a bit more harsh.

You would surely have one, one day, but not possible for a few months.

@dfollin yeah the situation in US has gone too bad, but things have worsened here too.

But there would be some travel restrictions within Singapore?

Implementing this in India has been tougher, but the police here is doing a good job, though they go overboard sometimes.

Yeah but still I think that I would keep it at least a little operational - no long rides though!

Yes, the occasional run would be good.

My father uses our vehicle, even though we have a community quarantine here. But he only uses it very seldom. Most of the time, he uses it when he needs to buy our basic needs.

In such times, we cannot use our vehicles too much.
