proving to be another touchy subject

Seems that whether to stay home is even a touchy subject in my household. I have argued with daughter to stay home but she has these reasons to go to work. If she stays home when she is not sick and uses up her paid sick days and personal days, and then gets sick after she will not get paid for staying home and we can't survive on my check alone. We are barely surviving with both plus help from friends now and then. Secondly where is first responders supposed to eat or get lunch in other words? Wawa is often giving them discounts as it is. So there you have it. photo of my late Coco when we dressed her for St. Pats day

I understand her need to work. If I wasn't retired and living with my brother, I would be in the same boat.

As my husband says, this is a situation where the coin only has two bad sides, no matter what you decide is not a good decision.

@wolfgirl569 yes and baked goods are needed always. My daughter here ended up bringing home lots of Wawa baked goods the other night. They usually change out every night for fresh baked things

@bunnybon7 Our neighbor has talked about quitting. Her husband has a good job with limited people contact. But she works the bakery area at a store.

My mother has been going crazy. She keeps saying she needs to work. She's a painter and one of her co-workers had called her about work. I don't know if she should since we are under a stay-at-home order.

The government is supposed to provide the food and necessities during community quarantine. Are you in one?

I worry for my sister who works for a printer. They print seed packets and are considered essential. Seriously.

strange. Problem is so many people don't get paid for time off even when sick. So if their employer won't pay, they can't afford to take off even sick puts everyone in jeopardy

OMG what a POSITIVELY CUTE dog I think a lot of people are torn because if they still have a job, they really can't afford NOT to work. Plus who knows if the employer would be understanding or not. I hope she'll be ok.

I pray every day she won't catch it but then I am thinking that eventually everyone will. Just depends on who will live over it.

Most we know are working b/c they are concerned soon there will be no jobs to worry about. Several small places here have already announced they won't open again.

It's a hard decision. We are in lockdown here in Ohio and probably will be for some time yet. Stay safe and healthy. That's a cute picture of Coco.
