Angus was my beautiful cavalier King Charles spaniel dog. He died in my home country and was buried in my garden. I buried him with a heavy heart in my front garden where he used to roam around when he was still alive. I buried him there so that he would not be forgotten and always taken care of. His grave is surrounded with flowers. I have planted flowers too on top of his grave. While I am away, my brother and his daughters are taking care of my house and garden. Angus grave has beautiful zinnias on top and around him. The photo is one of the zinnias. I am thankful to God that I have a family whom I can trust. I worried about them in times of coronavirus. I hope they will be safe and will be able to see them again in the future. Where do you buried your pets when they died? Thank you for reading. I hope and pray that we will be safe from the calamity that we have now all over the world. God bless and have a nice weekend to all.

What a great tribute. My dog left and never returned years ago (cocker spaniel) and I had my 24 y/o cat cremated. She is still with me.

Thank you @CarolDM. Sorry about your dog. Maybe your dog has found a new owner. I hope a nice owner like you. This is the first time I heard about a cat or a pet cremated. Thanks for the info.

@CarolDM that was a double pain for you. Losing a son then a pet. Sorry about that.

@thelme55 Indeed it was. I only had MommaKitty left, the cat that was cremated, my son's cat.

That is so touching. Angus was such a wonderful and special dog. Doodles and Kuma are in my rock garden.

Thank you very much @DianneN. Yes, he was indeed our special dog. I am glad that they are in your rock garden. How does your rock garden look like?

You must have many memories of your pet. Well I pray for the safety of all fellows, and let this menace of COVID-19 be eliminated. But as of now, the best way is to avoid going outside as far as possible(except for getting essential things) and stay indoors.

Be safe. My horse was to big to bury near where she had lived. I actually don't know where her remains wound up. But her spirit lives inside of me.

That zinnia is lovely. You must miss him a lot. Did you take him back and forth to Germany when you had him?

Yes, I miss him a lot @JudyEv. No, we didn´t travel with him back and forth to Germany. We left him in the care of my close cousin and family in my home in the Philippines when we were in Germany for a few months. Then come back to him and stayed for a few months. We were scared to lose him in our travels and so he always waited for our return.

We always had the vet take care of the body. We couldn't stand the thought of carrying the body back home and having to bury it. We loved all of our dogs so much.

Angus has a splendid grave. I always had cats, and my preferred one managed to disappear in the nature when he was very sick (he had a brain cancer). Cats are hiding to die, and I never found him. At least Angus has nice flowers in his garden...

It really helps me remember him. Besides that, I have a lot of photos and videos of him. Thank you @Writingghost.
