Bank Teller's woe

This morning our disbursing officer went to the bank to encash the philhealth sharing of our hospital personnel. I requested her to bring our deposit consisting of checks and cash. When the teller saw the cash deposit he was hesitant to count them, especially that it is composed of several old bills and denomination. Obviously the money has been transferred from several hands. Covid 19 has created an enmity between money and people lol

I think they should do that. But per my collector's experience it is very uneasy.

@florelway Using the disposable surgical gloves is even easier and faster than without.

@florelway it is possible, but you still have the risk of someone preparing, catching and harvesting the food.

I am afraid we will be going back to the barter trade scheme hahaha. Like i will barter my fish with rice, and no exchange of money takes place.

Yeah because it has been said that paper bills may be contaminated by the virus and could survive for long period of time. I can understand if the bank tellers would be hesitant to count them manually. Maybe they should start wearing gloves now.

My collectors actually use gloves but they felt uneasy, I think they will just have to get used to it.

That's right.lol. when any of my collector makes a remittance i would ask her to keep first the money in the vault because I will count the money the following day.

@florelway That is good decision. Even I with my personal money, I dump it in my wallet and then wash my hands.

Everyone has become paranoid. He is a male teller. He told our disbursing why she didn't go to main branch, what are interbranch deposit then for? Especially at this time the nearest you could go the better.
