It's Also Time for Politicians to Shine

During calamities and crisis, it's also time for politicians to shine. There are outstanding in terms of emergency response while some are mediocre performers. The demands are overwhelming and if you see peoples comments lots are whining. Whether their acts are genuine or hypocrisy, there will be those who are pleased, doubted, and unsatisfied.

Yes, that's right. One must act wholeheartedly how they are able to help their people but this is the best time also to show to their constituents that they are performer even it lacks sincerity and that they deserve reelection comes next.

They can use this to boost their image for the next election. There are plenty of hypocrites of them.

Politicians would be better off if they donate their salaries to the relief operations. So far, here in the Philippines, only a handful of politicians are doing good. Most are just all talk and no action.

I think our politicians are doing a very good job at the moment. These are tough times but they seem to be dealing with it well.
