My potatoes did not arrive

And I don´t know how to ask for them. Everything is difficult, it seems. I am getting a little pissed with this corona virus. The days on quarantine mount, the boredom starts and the people infected here are over 1000. The supermarket (Walmart) had potatoes so I fell for it. And I bought several not so important things because the shipping was expensive. Every came. BUT the potatoes. I don´t know when and if I´ll get them. Now a bag of potatoes is important. Geez!

I would be contacting the store you got them from and see what is going on.

You ordered potatoes on the online walmart? I just checked to see if I could buy them online and the only way I could is if I go to pick them up. Did you called your walmart to see if they have your order waiting for you?

Oh, that’s a shame! Hubs went shopping today and came home with 2 bags of red potatoes, but no Idaho were to be found. I would think the store would have told you they were out of them. Perhaps it was an oversight.

I think that they just did not have the right person to put together what I wanted. They are offering only a few but necessary things. Where I live, everything has turned into a sort of war zone. I haven´t gone out of my house in 18 days.

@DianneN I am not going to expose myself for some potatoes. I can eat rice, pasta or other food I still have.

Contact Walmart.com via the online form. They are VERY good about getting back to you and have excellent customer service.

Not now, apparently. There is a virtual assistant, but nothing happens.

@LindaOHio I sent messages and they answered. But they will not send what I bought. And although they told me they would return the money, it is yet to be seen.

@marguicha Yeah, they cut down the ways that you can contact them now. You used to be able to send a message. :-(

A bit annoying isn't! We are used to conveniences all around, and now this! Now I can't even jump on the bus or train to wander around the city or shopping malls (like I used to do whenever I got bored). Heard of the lines outside supermarkets, make me feel very unhappy. (I will have to go getting the fresh milk!!!)

A lot of things are hard to get, dairy is nearly impossible (strange thing is not many people are stocking up on lightbulbs. They are everywhere and super cheap) if you are buying from a website they will normally offer substitutes, you should always take them. There are also premed mashed potatoes, but unless that’s all you want, your pretty much S.O.L

To date I have to admit I have not been bored I can always find something to do in the house garden or on line. I don't watch tv as it just sends me to sleep. Apparently all those hoarders who bought tons of stuff a few weeks back are now in the process of throwing it out. So you may well have saved yourself some hard earned pennies!

@marguicha I was filling in one of those daft quiz things on facebook the other day and my daughter quipped that my favourite programme would be watched behind eyelids!
