I am watching a biopic on fellow poet Dylan Thomas.
So far it's pretty interesting, though it wasn't what I went looking for originally.
I was searching for another (related) film I had seen some years ago,
but I can't even remember it's title now.
Anyway, watching the biopic inspired me to write about Dylan.
He died in New York (1953) and since then both he & his work have received a mixed bag of ridicule & praise.
He was brilliant, but troubled, which is a cliche' but warranted.
It was also long held that he died due to complications brought on by drunkenness. I read recently though, that he actually died due to medical oversight (malpractice.)
