so i don't know if I should be alarmed or impressed

This morning something happened and I don't know what to make of it.
I remember the meaning of a horse head in your bed. (it's from the Godfather, and basically means you are about to well swim with the fishes).
This morning when I got up I found what is in the picture in my bed.
My daughter and my son-in-law informed me after the fact that they had looked for this item last night but it was missing from their room.
So what does it mean when you have a box of goldfish in your bed?
