Our Supposed Viand for Dinner

Although I was not in the good mood to cook for supper, I have already a dish in my mind. It"s a dish from string beans with sliced pork. However, it wasn't push through because my sister brought us food. That was very timely. I will cook the dish tommorow in the afternoon here. Do you like string beans? Are string beans available in your place?

Those string beans are too expensive here right now. Just the other day a vegetable seller had one single string bean priced at PHP 3 each!!! Too much.

@ZedSmart I don't know. I had to ask her twice if I got the price correct. And indeed it was that costly. So I had to cook our sinigang without the string beans. Hehe.

We like string beans but it is normally a vegetarian dish for us. We don't mix non veg in that.

How do you cook your string beans? We can also incorporate that to a soup dish along with other vegetable.

@ZedSmart We just cut them to small pieces and cook them in water mixed with onion, grated coconut and green chillies. it is a dry dish.
