Took a Chance on Dinner

The local Mexican restaurant is owned by good friends. They only have carryout and curb service for now. I am really worried their business will not make it for long.
Have been putting off ordering from them due to the virus. But I said today I was doing it. So the order was placed. I drove up, gave them my order number and the food came out, all packaged up and the employees were all wearing masks and gloves.
Hopefully this was a good idea. The photo looks like the nachos I ate.

I hope it was a good idea. I myself have gotten take out three times since the stay home order two -three weeks ago.

I think we have to do our best to support local restaurants to keep them in business. One of the places near me is now delivering..but I am not a fan of their food. I wish the Mexican place was.

That is a good idea, it is helping them stay in business. I know of a couple of restaurants in town I would like to get take out from, I just haven't done it yet.

Glad you were able to get a meal and you can support them as well! I can only imagine how hard it is for small businesses. I could go for some nachos right now haha

I think ordering out is just fine. My wife and I have done Chinese and we have done pizza. The end of this week we may get fried chicken or something. Haven't decided yet. We are doing it mostly to help support some of these smaller businesses. They need all the help we can give them right now.

@CarolDM I think you have just as much a chance of getting something from anything you might buy in a store to cook yourself. Someone is processing it, someone is handling it...infact several people may be handling it. Just my two cents.
