Canceled

A newsfeed just came across my computer showing that tomorrow's vote is canceled. Governor Tony Evers made the announcement today to shut down voting across Wisconsin tomorrow and postpone it until June.
Of course, the lawmakers need to agree. When don't they? We have a Democratic governor and a Republican senate.
So, while they agree and disagree, I'm staying home tomorrow.
In the meantime, before the clouds roll in, I'm going for my walk. It's supposed to rain later. Besides, it's super nice out there. I won't need my winter jacket and felt a bit overkill this morning when I wore it to do laundry.
I shall return. I have over 200 notifications to get through today.
Are you facing more cancelations where you are? Thanks for reading. The image is mine. Another from my walk yesterday. That's my bedroom window behind the sign for the complex.

Governor got overuled, the vote is going on, and any late mail in ballots are being tossed out. Its reading like the repub senate doesnt want people to be able to vote.

@just4him I am glad you did, but I am sorry that you had to do this. It was very... inconsiderate of the republicans to not allow the governor to have stay home voting.

It is not surprising you are better off not putting yourself at risk at the moment! Keep away from people!

We are seeing cancellation going on everywhere around the world amidst the virus crisis. All events and things that would require people to gather are being called off.
