Avatar.......What's special about it ?

Hi everyone ! A very good morning to all.
As many of you know , I love watching action movies , usually sci - Fi , and if I like it a lot, I will watch the same film a 100 times. Yes I have watched lots of films like that .
But this is one film which I was never interested in
Yeah it's Avatar...................................,
It's a well known film worldwide, famous and great and all, but I never found any interest in it. And therefore I never cared to watch it either.
We all have our own likes and dislikes,
Have you watched this film ?
Are there any films which you never 'cared' to watch but it's well known ?

I never cared to see the Transformers movies 'cause I was a fan of the '80's cartoon. Too many changes.

I've never seen "Avatar" and haven't really cared to. I mean, some movies come out, and I think, "Oh, I want to see that", but Avatar wasn't one of them. I am not a fan of horror movies--I never wanted to see any of the "Halloween" or "Nightmare on Elm Street franchises.

I have seen portions of the movie Avatar in the cable channel but I have to see the entire to fully understand.
