Okay, okay, it’s not really Groundhog Day but guess what we saw? That’s right we spotted our friendly neighbor groundhog from the frost. With very little activity with people being outside and today being gray and kind of rainy make it possible for us to spot our friend here in our neighborhood front yarn munching on some greens. Typically we see this in our back yard munching on our greens back there. It was cool to see him in the front yard.

With humans inside most of them are free to move wherever they can

@amitkokiladitya no our house is in a small area that is tucked near the wood lines. Most of Virginia is wooded and even the paths have a lot of animal and people traffic even in the summer but less people are out. We can go out and enjoy the paths just no playing in the play aground. Normally we see a lot of squirrels, bunnies some times deer. Maybe a fox or two. Turtles some times.

@ShyBear88 yes... because the roads and pathways are now empty and he is free to roam every where

He looks like such a cute fellow. I wonder if he's friendly.

Are they considered nuisance animals?

Hmm don’t know! They never really bother me. They are scared easily but if sick you never know what trouble might happen.

@ShyBear88 I think that can be said for many animals. It's when they get sick that they start behaving irrationally.
