Computer gone kaputt

It was the last thing that I wanted at this time. I was having a problem with my DVI cable (a cable that connects the monitor to the motherboard) for some months. It became a bit twisted at the end causing occasional connectivity issue. Today, while working in the evening, I faced the issue again. But this time it was not going away. I shook the cable hard and it snapped from the socket with a broken head. I called up the local technician, who said that it will not be possible to get a new cable during this lockdown times. Only thing is that I have a old cable, and he said he will install it in the meantime. I would not be able to do any graphics intensive work though. I am a bit pissed off now.
