Still having severe thunderstorms since last night. Has not stopped all day.
Just starting having the power flicker off and on. Thunder and lighting continues.
Fingers crossed this goes by without any damage. It is getting dark and the wind has picked up.
Have a good night everyone. Stay safe out there.

@CarolDM We had a cold front come through; and the winds were blasting. Heard many loud sounds on the roof. I think branches came down; but hubs won't go out and take a look. Sigh.

I'm really worried about you with all the threats of tornadoes they have been talking about for the last several days. I hope you stay safe through all this.

@moffittjc I heard 20, but it keeps going up. Now the tornado in Chattanooga is classified as an F3. Three deaths there so far.

If I get constant flickers I usually turn the power off on the main switch to prevent damage to my appliances and electronics. You too , stay safe.

I haven’t seen any “severe” weather north of the Alabama/Tennessee state line, thank God. I wonder if there were “quick” repairs made in the immediate aftermath of the March 3 tornado that they haven’t had time yet to make more “permanent” (because of the virus).
I’m watching coverage from Mississippi and from Alabama. They’re having some rough, rough weather there (numerous tornadoes). I’m with you: I hope and pray this subsides without any significant damage.

I didn't know that it rained last night, a heavy rain amidst the hot summer.
