I'm going to head down to dad's place and try to finish up the project we got going and see how he is doing. I was suppose to go yesterday but since I was not feeling to well I put it off till today. I think I might stop at the store on the way home and grab a few things, like some bread and some fresh fruit. I have some canned stuff and I been working that in every few days but it's just not the same. Nothing to exciting happened yesterday, I watched the Band of Brothers series yet again. I caught the news last night and I have to say I am so confused just listening to it. I watched ABC news and WGN news. One tells me that the number of deaths are going down while showing a chart that seems to me indicates that the numbers are still going up. The other station says the numbers are going up but that the "lockdown" should be over by the end of the month. How can you say the numbers are still going up but the lockdown will be over at the end of the month? Are we just going to give up trying or what? That made no sense to me at all. Then they were saying how there were lines at the hospital to get in and get tested and seen by doctors. But then they cut to a reported at the hospital and there is no line near the door. So which is it there are lines of people waiting but you show a reporter with no one around.

I'm gonna stop by winn Dixie today and get some meat and eggs, but that's just so the freezer will be full. We have pork ribs, six pounds of chicken, steak and hamburger meat in the freezer.

How come the numbers went higher during lockdown and were lower prior to lockdown? Shouldn't be the reverse after weeks of this? We are beyond the two week incubation period.

@Bensen32 But those case are still less than when the population roamed at will. Let's just hope the reports of peaking are true but there are so many financial and political agendas at play that it may not end soon.

@JohnRoberts Yea, they want to keep us guessing and that is why everyone is telling a different story. Again so many politicians not looking out for the people they are suppose to be serving but serving their own needs.

Ok, I'm no expert but I'm guessing cause there are still a lot of people that are not locking down, and if a family is locked down but someone already had it, they are just giving it to each other. Yes, that is my GUESS, even though I have no proof of this.

I don't keep up with the news anymore. I might catch a glance at a chart, or hear a snippet of the briefing but that's about it. The numbers are evening out because people are staying at home. I think the last I checked there were like 111 cases of the virus in my county alone. We all need to keep with the lockdown, no matter whether we want to or not. If we go back to life as normal without a vaccine, the numbers are just going to plateau.

Yea this is the first time I turned on the news in at least a week. It's a lot of the same news and its all about the virus, nothing else. I wonder what else is happening in the world right now.

@Bensen32 I occasionally hear about other stuff going on, but it then goes right back to the COVID 19 stuff.

I'm as confused as you are with all the news reports. I don't think it's realistic to think we'll be able to cease the lockdown by the end of the month. If so then why are the schools closed for the remainder of the year? Everything is just contradictory

Exactly, they don't know and instead of saying they don't know and we are doing our best to deal with this and we will update you later. They want to make it sound like they know what they are talking about and just saying anything.

It is certainly difficult to get a handle on the true situation as regards numbers and so on.
