I opened my e-mail this morning to find good news. I went to the news site I always watch for the weather and got more good news. On top of that, I stepped on the scale this morning first thing and saw good news there too.
What is all this good news?
The scale - I'm down 2 pounds from two days ago. Two days ago I was at 196.6 Today I'm at 194.6. I'm down 55 positive pounds. I was waiting to see 196.0. Now, I'm looking at 194.0.
My e-mail - I got a message from Social Services - Welfare - I'm getting a one-month only COVID-19 supplement for my FoodShare benefit of $178. My normal FoodShare benefit is $16 and going up to $19 for May. I don't need to use my SS check for food for a change.
WBAY.Com - Insurance premium refund news. The company I've been with for many years is issuing a $50 premium refund because people aren't on the roads. The news said the checks would be in the mail in the next 30 days.
That with the stimulus check I'll receive next week - all I can say - God is GOOD! All the time.

@porwest The lockdown is supposed to end on the 24th. This morning I heard a sentence on the news that said the governor is considering extending the lockdown. I hope not, but we need to do what's best. If it's over on the 24th, I'll be back in the pool the following Monday.
The suit still fits. It's not too big yet. I give it 20 more pounds.

That is very good and I am happy for you. I am waiting for an important writing job payment that is just not coming in and I am worried a lot.
