Sad Truth About The Quarantine Extension

I think everybody is looking forward to have the lockdown to be lifted. 8ts supposed to be lifted on April 12 from where I am. Unfortunately, it has to be extended until the end of the month. For me, I'm cool with it since I'm an introvert. I don't really go out much even before this happens. Although I travel but I still stick around the house all day. The problem abou the extension is that there are not enough supplies of food to buy anymore. Even if you have some money, you need to figure just to get the usual stuff that you need from the stores. I'm also worried about my fellow citizens since I'm sure that most of them are getting hungry. One person posted that they have to skip eating for the entire day! It's really sad. But we can't really do much since we're not allowed to go out. Good thing that food packs were provided earlier. But for sure, it will not even last for 3 days.

We are fortunate to still have food. I hope things get better soon in your country.

@cherriefic I certainly hope so! We have many programs to feed the hungry here.

I agree. When this is all over, we are more appreciative with what we can do.

I'm sorry that food supplies are limited in your area. Our shelves are empty of items that the food hoarders are buying. Our confinement lasts until April 30 (so far).

Same goes around here. Hopefully it will not be extended or we might all end up starving.
