It's another day and more work to be done.
I've been working extra hard online for the past few days and I think it's paying off. :)
My husband has been getting the outside stuff done and the yard is starting to look pretty good.
The weather though isn't cooperating much with us. At night the temps have been freezing or close to it so all my plants that were thriving, are pretty dead now.
The flowers for my best friend's wedding are doing pretty good though. She had me plant gladiolas, purple ones and they're thriving.
A silver lining during the dark.
Since this pandemic started, I've been creatively stifled. I haven't been able to write at all. The most I got was the other day I wrote a few paragraphs. I'm hoping that the spell will break soon. I keep having ideas pop in my head but by the time I get to my laptop they're gone.
Oh well, one day I'll finish the story.
I have been able to read and with my new kindle, I stay up way too late to read while my husband sleeps lol. Not ideal but it works for us. I'm on book 32 out of my 102 goal this year.
What is everyone else up to today?

The weather's getting nice enough here that we're looking at starting a container garden soon.
I haven't gotten much writing done, either. Sometimes when I'm having trouble with ideas popping up and being gone by the time I get to the computer I walk around with a little notebook and jot them down as quickly as possible. At least then there's something to refer back to, even if I look at it later and go "what on Earth was I even thinking with that?"
Kindles make it way too easy to stay up too late. Having so many good books available right at your fingertips can be both a blessing and a curse sometimes!

I love everything you just said.
We restarted my garden yesterday so hopefully the weather perks up at some point. As for writing the ideas down I do that but end up loosing my paperwork. I have this really thick three inch binder with all my writing, present and past in it. It's huge.
As for my kindle, I love the thing. I stay up way too late and like last night, my hands couldn't hold the paperback book so I switched over. I move the book mark in the book along with the kindle. That way I keep track of my chapters and where I am. Just in case lol.

Sorry about your plants and hope the flowers for the wedding hold up. You are probably full of stress and it is blocking you. I have been working online and watching TV or listening to music or reading.
