Back From My Walk

According to my fitness tracker, I was gone for over an hour. I got a few nice pictures of the area I walked. I'll put those up on future posts. If you look at the map, I started out on Deckner to Danz, Danz to Danz Elementary and Basten Street. Basten Street to N. Henry. North Henry to Morrow. I planned to go all the way to Deckner but my right knee started to feel like it would give out, so I turned on Morrow and went to Imperial Heights, the unnamed road at the back of the complex, and home.
I found a lot of interesting sights I didn't know about. There's a swamp and creek just before the school. I have pictures of both. There is a trail and a couple of fascinating trees also along the way.
It might take a little longer to get the longer route as I put on 6000 steps on this route alone. I was at 5600+ when I walked out the door. I'm at 11,570 steps with 4.38 miles so far today.
I'm going to interact here for a while longer and try to clear up a few more notifications, at least get under 200 again. I've been flirting with 300+ notifications all day.
How was your day? Did you get out for a walk and fresh air? Thanks for reading. The image is the map of the area where I walked.

I have been missing my morning walk because of the lockdown rules to stay home.

@just4him it is very strict here that we need a quarantine pass to go out of the house.

It sounds like a nice walk. Maybe you can find a walking buddy. There were two women who were always walking around here..I was going to ask them if I could walk with them, but I haven't seen them lately.

It is a good way to explore the area and learn about the things we have not known exist.

@just4him Here, I was surprised to see people built small houses under the bridge. Quite scary

No. Look again. I didn't go up to University/57. Just to the school. It was quite a hike for today. I'll be ready for you though when I get to New York and we can walk through Central Park.
I just looked, the school isn't on there. It's at the corner of Danz and Basten St.
Besides, I don't like Taco Bell, but Pizza Hut would have been a temptation.

I walked my dog twice today. Other than that not much in the way of exercise. Only 3,563 steps so far.

That's a nice stroll you took today.
My knees are bothering me so I've been a couch potato most of the day

I'm sorry your knees have been bothering you. Yes, it was. I'm just now getting my breathing under control. My pulse is still up a little, so I'm sure it came down quite a bit.

@JohnRoberts I heard yesterday or this morning that they would open the libraries for curbside pickup.
