The Turtles are an American rock band formed in 1965. They had several top 40 hits; but their 1967 release, "Happy Together", was their biggest success. The group broke up in 1970. In 1983 the two lead vocalists legally regained the use of "The Turtles" and began touring as "The Turtles...Featuring Flo and Eddie". Tracks 1. It Ain't Me Babe 2. Let Me Be 3. Eve of Destruction 4. You Baby 5. Grim Reaper of Love 6. Can I Get to Know You Better 7. Outside Chance 8. Happy Together 9. She'd Rather Be With Me 10. Me About You 11. Guide for the Married Man 12. She's My Girl 13. You Know What I Mean 14. Sound Asleep 15. Elenore 16. You Showed Me 17. The Story of Rock & Roll 18. You Don't Have to Walk in the Rain 19. Love in the City 20. Lady-O Here's their biggest hit, "Happy Together": "Happy Together" is delightfully dated: "I should call you up, invest a dime..." Photo Credit: Wikimedia Commons

My favorite was when they did the theme to It's Garry Shandling's Show one night.
I guess it's technically Flo & Eddie performing the opening theme song to It's Garry Shandling's Show in this episode of the great Fox sitcom.

Thanks. When they did the "Baa baa baa" it gave me the chills remembering the original song. They are old! But so am I!!!

Back in the 1990s my wife and I were able to attend a free show by the Turtles put on in Old Sacramento. We loved it. If they came around here again, we would do what we could to watch them again. (The main thing we noticed, boy they have gotten old. I guess we all have.)

Yeah, any time I see one of the bands/groups from the 60s or 70s I say, "Boy, are they old"....forgetting, of course, that we got old right along with them!
