Easter Candy Still Available / myLot

A extremely rare occurance is happening this year especially at big box stores like Walmart where they still have Easter candy still available unlike the past several years when Easter was over and the candy was marked half off it was sold out before mid morning. I bought some mid week and there was still some today though I did not buy at Walmart. But did find some Russel Stover marshmallow filled candy at Dollar Trr and pick up several packages for half price, I am enjoying one right now as I am typing this. I guess the stores who had bought for Easter before the Corona shutdowns and customers weren't able to buy like they would have for Easter, and clubs, churches etc. who would have bought for egg hunts left a large stockpile that they are selling at discounted prices which may go even lower than 50%. We shall see.

Wow I didn't even think to look at Dollar General today but I wonder if there would have been some.

They may since they start the discount at 25% off most of the time and generally still have holiday candy a couple weeks past when they go to 50%.

At least you can make sure that they will have a fresh batch for next year if everything got sold.

If anything is left which is rare it will go to food pantries here.

there sure is because these companies bought for what should have been a normal Easter season. They couldnt have imagined when ordering that normal aster activities would be put to a halt.

We used to buy the Cadbury's egg cream after Easter at 50% off for our kids (and papa and maman too)

I never got the chance to buy Easter candy this year, so it would be nice if there was some still left at my local grocery store. I will have to remember to check next time I am there!
