I tried to recovered password of the old email used to registered at one government agency for paying monthly remittances. Since it's not of regular use, I forgot the password. I need it now since the agency's website was bugged down few days ago, they will be sending information through the email add in their files. No other means we can communicate the agency as their contact support are unfunctional.
I attempted many times to input three possible passwords I use with other accounts, but all of my efforts were no help. I was asked to answer security questions and answered them but still I couldn't login instead I was prompted to call their customer support but it says they only have limited people because of the pandemic but the icon is not even active. This is useless and I'm losing hope with the recovery and the filing of benefits from the government agency.

I felt the same when I was charged wrongly by bank and they are not refunding money

Is that yahoo? With the old yahoo accounts you should put an alternative email, in my case I attached my newer gmail that I use for my smartphone. I think you just have to wait till the pandemic is over
