Switching to Vivaldi

vivaldi

I have installed the Vivaldi browser for a month ago. It's been noted to be the fastest browser to-date. Vivaldi does not have so many features compared to Chrome. Perhaps that's the reason that it is fast. But you can still install Grammarly on it. Aside from speed, it has a useful toolbar on the side that lets you add notes. That's the main reason I am switching to this browser for now. At least I can see my schedule while I am working. Hopefully, this would help me set my focus and get me back on track with my projects. Another feature that I like is the tool that allows you to take a screenshot of the page. It's located at the bottom right, under the tabs. Yes, the page tabs are at the bottom not at the top. Have you heard of Vivaldi before?

I haven't heard about that until now. Is it free?

@cherriefic Why can't you login to MyLot using Chrome?

Yes, it's free. I haven't opened my Chrome today and so far, and I'm quite happy with Vivaldi's performance.

I have heard of it, and I used it a little but prefer opera myself.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, I am. I have a rather low-spec laptop (celeron-N) so any improvement i performance is helpful for me.

Heard about Vivaldi before but never got around using it. How does it hold up against the other more popular browsers?

So far so good. I think it actually makes my laptop (which is low on spec) run a bit better. Even with multiple tabs open.

I am using Chrome and I noticed that it slows down my computer even when shutting down. Maybe I will check on that Vivaldi.

I felt that way too whenever I use Chrome. Vivaldi does not have lots of extensions which is probably it's fast. The only extension that I have for Vivaldi is Grammarly.

It's relatively new. I wasn't aware of it until someone mentioned it on a comment on my post on another site about Brave Browser.
