Here's wishing mylotters are in good health and good condition. Been out for sometime, had to adapt to the dictates of the pandemic.
The usual norm practices had been changed, queuing now necessitates social distancing. The quick convenient stop-overs are gone, all my supplies must be done in one grocery shopping, and in full battle gear - face mask, rain coat, and sanitizer.
Food must be apportioned to last for weeks on end. I check my freezer every morning, and grapple with what viand to cook that would suffice me and my dog the whole day. And my dog, yes, puzzled about the absence of passers-by. All of a sudden, we just have the birds and the bees and the butterflies to play with. Plus three stray kitty cats begging for sustenance.
I am still alive, not that that matters to people I know. An estranged aunt did call, and a cousin did check on me once, a nephew text message every so often, and a dear friend still asks "Kumusta na?"
I'd like to know, too, "Kumusta na kayo?" How are you?

Happy to know you are fine. Is food allocation systematic in your country?

@Butterfingers Oh, that is sad. The people must be hungry.

The problem with food is not the money for buying but the how to buy. The long line is disgusting.

Grocery line calls for patience. The long lines are probably due to the bulk of items hoarders are availing.
Our baranggay distributed rice and sardines.
