Whats For Breakfast?

Good morning/afternoon/evening mylotters. I hope everyone is having a great day so far. I didn't have any nightmares last night so I am happy. Daisy woke me up at 3:30 am ready to get up. Needless to say, I am up too. The things we do for our furbabies . I'm finishing my second cup of coffee and then I will be having breakfast. I'm not sure what to fix yet. It will either be cereal or an English muffin and breakfast sausage. I'm kind of leaning toward the latter. What are you having for breakfast? I hope everyone has a blessed day! *Image from Pixabay

We had breakfast more than 5 hours ago, it's almost lunch time now. I had made soft muffins with jam inside for breakfast.

This is very un-Italian. Typically Italian is a cup of espresso and nothing to eat! When our German pupils were in Foggia on exchange visits, they always complained of being hungry the whole morning. When the Italian pupils were in Germany, they annoyed their host families because they didn't eat anything in the morning. They came over as spoilt brats who didn't want to eat German food.

@MALUSE We are both very un-Italian, this is why we left Italy in 1975 to never come back. We do not eat eggs and bacon or sausages in the morning, but we have breakfast, a muffin or toasted bread, yogurt and fruits.

@LadyDuck My husband grew up with the Italian non-breakfast but adopted my German way of having breakfast with tea (you know that Italians drink tea only when they're ill :-)), crisp bread, covered with butter, Quark and jam.

I hope you decided what to eat. I'm glad you didn't have nightmares last night. My breakfast was a simple bowl of banana porridge with raisins. Not my usual breakfast.

I just finished a little dish of granola as I sip my first cup of coffee. That will do me until mid morning, when I will have an apple and a second cup of coffee.
