1973 - The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd goes to #1 on the US Billboard chart, beginning a record-breaking 741-week chart run.
1926 - Harper Lee was born. She was an American novelist best known for her 1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird for which she won a 1961 Pulitzer Prize. She only published 2 books in her lifetime. She passed away in 2016.
1973 - Jorge Garcia was born. He is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his portrayal of Hugo "Hurley" Reyes in Lost from 2004-2010.
