Not Quite Bored

I don't want to say I'm bored because I'm not. But I certainly am restless. It's like the old saying of having ants in your pants. I had a virtual doctor appointment again, and thankfully my dogs were quiet until the end of the appointment. They started barking right when we said goodbye. I've also taken them out for their walk, and wow, is it windy! My dogs, maybe because they are small, do not like the wind.
Friday a few things will start opening, but you have to make appointments ahead of time. I have a feeling they will be booked solid since the appointment times started being booked last week.
I found out a few self employed people have been operating business on the down low all this time, and I am disappointed in them for going against policy. It's pretty shortsighted.
What about you?

I know what you mean about being restless. It's hard to not be able to just go wherever whenever. Here at home, I've been trying to keep busy with my usual stuff like playing with yarn. I've been crocheting on a sweater and finished it last night. Now, all I have to do is weave in the loose ends. I've also been knitting on a sock. I've cooked more in the last 2 months than I have in probably the last 2 years!!

I've heard about some of the smaller businesses doing that. One of my friends has an aunt that operates small business, but she did curbside type of service, which I think was acceptable under the terms NC Gov Cooper gave us.
I bet the wind hits the smaller animals a lot differently, it probably feels like a tornado to them.

I think if everyone had taken this more seriously sooner, it would be over by now and now they are opening up before they should. It's a mess for sure
just like mankind always does

While Oklahoma City slowly opened up, most places here (one city over) are staying closed until May 15th. Truthfully, you have to jump through so many hoops to go somewhere now opened, it's not worth it. It really isn't. I don't anticipate people pouring out into public. Not in Oklahoma anyway.

We are doing well. So far we are content. It’s been a treat having my husband with me 24/7.

We're still going to be wary of going anywhere where there are a bunch of people. Even if the restaurants were to open, I'm not sure we'd go right away. The same with the hair salons...even though I badly need a haircut! :-)

The cats question the wind as well, and will sometimes just come back after looking out the door and curl up in some of their favorite places for naps until it calms down.

Our little dog Mush is so afraid of the wind. She shakes when it's very windy and also when it thunders.
I'm like a roller coaster of emotions.....restless, content, bored, stressed, sleepy

We are self employed and only have had three calls until this week when we got one more. This is for cleaning windows. One customer called a few weeks ago and said we were cleared but I looked at the state government website and disagreed it was only the lawn that was cleared no one else yet.
Yesterday when I did a bit on a new customer I found out that construction workers could begging again. I will check the governor's website again but at present we'll pretty much stay outside with masks. Also that's about all well do for now unless anyone else doesn't mind just the episodes being done.
It's snowing outside my husband just said.

The dogs timed it right. I am glad you could complete your call with your doctor on a virtual call. I bet you are right in having to make appointments ahead of time. I see people where I live not following the rules too and then it makes it harder on those that are doing the right thing.
