#20Resolutions - The Second One Done

I've finished another resolution! I have connected my old printer to the old computer. If that sounds RIDICULOUSLY easy, it wasn't--if you remember the original picture, there were a lot of small things in front of the printer, all of which I had to move out of the way. I then dusted the area thoroughly and hauled the printer around to access the parallel port on back. It took some trial and error to figure out how to feed the cable from the computer across the desk to give it enough room to comfortably reach, and, uh, "spatial negotiations" were made until it worked. So now, it's connected, and as a bonus, the area around it is clean and straightened up. You may notice that it is still unplugged, but plugging it in was not on the list, as it is really easy to do, consisting basically of flinging the cord over the edge of the desk and plugging it in. I will attend to that when I actually need to use it. For now, it can stay tucked in, as Sophie the Cat likes to lie behind the printer and look out the window, and who am I to encroach upon her enjoyment? She keeps the back of the desk dusted, so I owe her.
